Swan Valley board acknowledges multiple hires and accepts two resignations

At its June 12 meeting the board acknowledged hires for teachers, a coach and a College & Career Advisor, and accepted resignations from a high school teacher and a middle school aide; all actions passed unanimously.
The board acknowledged the hiring of Jessica Fehrman as a Swan Valley High School Spanish teacher and Leah Eimers as a GSRP teacher. It also acknowledged Jennifer Johnson as an elementary summer school co-teacher and Ryan Houthoofd as varsity cross country coach for the 2025-26 school year. The board approved the contract for Doug Bird as the College & Career Advisor for 2025-26. All acknowledgments passed on unanimous votes.
The board accepted resignations effective at the end of the 2024-25 school year from Dawn Perez, a high school teacher, and Shelby Brant, a Swan Valley Middle School special education/healthcare aide. Each resignation motion passed 7-0.
