Board recognizes tenured teachers, retirees and introduces three new deans of students

At the June 23 meeting Superintendent Dr. DiPonio introduced three newly appointed deans of students and thanked the district’s retirees for their service. The board approved recognition of tenured teachers and approved the Personnel Report (with one abstention recorded on the Personnel Report vote).
Dr. DiPonio publicly thanked retirees, saying he appreciated their dedicated service to Lake Shore Public Schools. The board also noted construction updates: Rodgers Elementary has seen significant changes and the ECC/Community Center is ahead of schedule. Board members congratulated new staff and student representatives during standing items.
Elizabeth Munger moved to approve the overnight trip and other personnel items were approved as recorded in the meeting minutes. The introduction of the deans and tenure recognitions were presented as part of administrative personnel actions.
