The board approved a one-year extension of the food service management contract with Chartwells for the 2025-26 school year by unanimous vote (Yea:7) at the June 23 meeting.
The motion was made by Susan DeLong and seconded by Elizabeth Munger. In response to a board question about renewal terms, Ms. Larsen said the district is permitted to renew the contract on a yearly basis: “we are allowed to renew yearly.” The extension was approved without recorded opposition and will govern food service management for the coming school year.
No additional contract terms or dollar amounts were presented during the meeting.
