Committee recommends three student field trips be forwarded to November board meeting

The Policy and Community Committee reviewed three proposed student trips and recommended each be forwarded to the full Mason Board of Education for approval at its November meeting. The middle school 8th-grade trip to Washington, D.C., is scheduled for April 29—May 2, 2026; the committee recorded no questions or concerns about logistics or supervision.
Committee members also reviewed an 8th-grade trip to Cedar Point on June 3, 2026, and the Mason High School Youth in Government trip to Lansing, Feb. 26—Mar. 1, 2026, recommending both be moved to the November board agenda for formal approval. No committee objections were recorded during discussion.
