Howell students and mentors highlight S.C.O.T.S. Bots season, World Championship placement

Ms. Carstensen, a lead mentor, described the team’s competitive season, its community service activities and its qualification for the FIRST World Championships. The minutes note the team’s robot “finished in the top 3% for their robot.”
Board members and Superintendent MacGregor praised the students. MacGregor thanked the Robotics team and “congratulated them on their accomplishments,” and several trustees encouraged the community to attend upcoming competitions.
The presentation was informational; no formal action was required. The board recognized the team during closing remarks and adjourned after routine business.
