The board unanimously approved tentative multiyear agreements reached with district bargaining groups. Jeremy Nishihara, assistant superintendent for human resources, told trustees the SEA negotiations covered 2025–26 through 2027–28 after months of interest‑based bargaining and sunshine postings. The board approved the SEA tentative agreement and the related AB disclosures.
The board also approved a three‑year tentative agreement with the California School Employees Association, Chapter 205, and a memorandum of understanding with SCAMP (management personnel) that implements compensation and benefit changes and a one‑year pilot on reproductive-loss leave. Trustees thanked negotiation teams and staff for a collaborative process.
