Board approves superintendent contract with $383,071 base salary and moving assistance

She said: "The base annual salary is $383,071 as based on a placement on step 4 of the superintendent's salary schedule." The summary also listed benefits parallel to those for other multi-year administrators, a $135,000 term life insurance benefit, a fully paid disability insurance program, a $535 monthly car allowance, a $600 annual cellphone stipend and temporary housing assistance up to $10,000 plus moving reimbursement to a maximum of $7,500.
Trustees discussed the community input used in the search, the role of the new superintendent and expressed both excitement and recognition of the transition's challenges. The board then voted to approve the superintendent employment contract and salary schedule.
