The Swan Valley School District Board accepted several personnel separations and approved new hires at its July 17 meeting.
"Motion made by Schneider and 2nd by Wenzel to accept the retirement of Christine Luplow, teacher/counselor, effective at the end of the 2024-25 school year," the minutes record. The board also accepted resignations from Laura Trombley (middle school teacher), Sarah Atkins (high school principal, effective June 30, 2025), Jacob Graham (bus driver, effective Aug. 15, 2025) and Sarah Jones-Hunt (high school library aide, effective June 30, 2025); all motions carried by unanimous vote.
The board approved hiring Brian Miller as a Swan Valley Middle School social studies teacher and Allison Strachota as a Swan Valley High School math teacher. It also approved paraprofessional hires Emily Tretyak (Havens Elementary instructional aide) and Taylor Greene (Swan Valley Middle School special education/healthcare aide).
