Beaver County commissioners met June 16 in Beaver and unanimously approved routine county bills, ratified a new hire for the Corrections Department and signed several intergovernmental agreements and grant documents.
At the start of the meeting, Commissioner Brandon Yardley moved and Commissioner Tammy Pearson seconded approval of county bills; the board voted unanimously to pass the motion. The commission also ratified the hire of Luke Albrecht in the Corrections Department. Multiple staff-led items that followed were approved by unanimous motion, including signature authorization on a Utah Association of Counties GIS cost-share agreement and an MOU with PLPCO to support the county's Resource Management Plan.
