Commission asks CIP for $18,500 recreation roof and $11,500 for softball infields

Commissioners discussed several estimates and the fundraising balance available in the commission's revolving and reserve accounts. Members asked for itemized quotes from NextGen, ProTurf and a local landscaper, and said they will consult the town engineer and consider soil test results before final construction. The chair noted the commission may use some reserve funds if the CIP does not grant the full amount. "I am going to make a motion that we use 115 for the softball fields and or we request 115 Softball infield and 185 for the roof from the CIP committee," the chair said when making the motion (motion text as stated on the record).
