Forest Hills authorizes contracts for new teachers and highlights ASBO award

The minutes list hires by name: Kaitlyn Bethel; Brynn Schanski; Brandy Coleman; Alaina Smith; MacKenzie DeGeer; Kennedy Smith; Sara Jung; Thomas Sorenson; Hannah Mayberry; Alexandra Sterk; Holly McLenithan. The motion passed by a 6-0 roll-call vote.
Superintendent Kirby thanked building principals and Assistant Superintendent Hosford for their work on hiring and thanked Julie Davis, Finance Director Tina Wright and the business office team for budget work; the business office received the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) 2025 Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting. Superintendent Kirby also noted staff opening day plans for August 20.
