At the Jan. 7, 2025 meeting Judge Marla Parker of the 47th District Court administered the oath of office to Thomas J. Hull (newly elected), Claudia T. Heinrich (re-elected) and David N. Turner (appointed). The swearing-in followed brief remarks by Judge Parker.
Assistant Superintendent Brad Paddock introduced and congratulated the district's Teachers of the Year: Early Childhood — Lara Ligerakis (Farmington Early Childhood Center); Elementary — Laura Orlowski (Beechview Elementary); Middle — Susan Kim (Power Middle School); High — Joseph Lazzarino (Farmington High School). The board, staff and community members recognized the honorees; no formal action was required for the recognitions.
