The Laurens County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on two recorded items at its June 2 regular meeting. Commissioner Kevin Tanner moved to approve the minutes from the May 19, 2026 regular meeting; Commissioner Brenda Chain seconded, and the motion passed with all voting in favor.
Later in the meeting County Administrator Bryan Rogers presented a renewal of the Senior Center Meal Contract with the Middle Flint Council on Aging, reporting a $0.38 increase for hot meals and a $0.53 increase for shelf-stable meals from last year. The board approved the contract after Commissioner Gerad Mathis moved and Commissioner Kevin Tanner seconded; the vote was recorded as unanimous.
