Clerk/Treasurer Ashley Bondell updated the council that Water/Wastewater Operator Sam Thielen (absent from the meeting) has installed roughly 10 new meters, including 1.5- and 2-inch meters. Bondell said the town discovered another 2-inch meter for which a replacement must be ordered from Ferguson; after the new meters are entered in the Black Mountain system the town will send a test file to confirm operations.
On the container site, Mayor Gary Thielen said flooring has been installed in the dump-site building and a heater has been ordered. The council discussed whether to heat the building with propane or install hardwired electricity, which would also allow interior lighting. No formal vote was recorded; the mayor asked the council for preferences and information to make a follow-up decision.
