Mayor Gary Thielen updated the council that two loads of gravel had been delivered to the dump-site building and that site work has begun. He said he would ask the fire department about conducting controlled burns to remove yard debris at the dump site and suggested the fire department use the site for training burns.
Clerk Ashley Bondell explained an unusually high SouthEast Garbage bill of $688.00 was due to the company needing to retrieve containers and make multiple trips to exchange containers after recent cleanup days. The council accepted the explanation and approved payment in the claims register.
