Member Maureen Eigen moved and Tracy Capistrant seconded adoption of a resolution to appoint election judges for the Independent School District No. 206 special election to be held Nov. 4, 2025. The resolution, citing Minnesota Statutes Section 204B.21, passed by a recorded 7–0 vote.
The resolution lists appointed individuals (Attachment A in the packet) and authorizes the Clerk of Election to appoint additional judges as needed, provided they meet statutory requirements. It also states that election judges shall act as clerks of election, count ballots cast, and submit results to the school board for canvass as provided for other school district elections.
