The board accepted a slate of donations and grants as part of the consent agenda, including a $63,420 gift from the Cardinal Athletic Foundation to help purchase a new scoreboard for the district pool and a $10,943.20 donation from the Wrestling Booster Club to purchase a new wrestling mat. Other grants included $11,320 from CenterPoint Energy for Raising a Reader book bags, a $20,000 technology grant with the potential to receive up to an additional $60,000 for cybersecurity, and a $12,000 Alexandria Area Community Foundation award to support belonging work with Dr. Corey Yeager.
