Sheriff's office adds e-ticketing units and starts no-cost peer-support pilot for first responders

Lieutenant Aaron Trainor told the board the change order for five additional DigiTicket units was signed and that the purchase agreement amendment allows Motorola to move forward with contract work; Frasier Winder Park Police Department will cover the cost for those units.

Trainor also presented a proposed peer-support program contract with Route County Crisis Support, which would provide the first year at no cost plus clinical oversight and an app to allow responders to request help anonymously. "This is a no cost agreement, but something that is desperately needed within our community," Trainor said, adding the program would provide debriefs after critical incidents and clinical oversight where needed. The board authorized the chair to sign all applicable documents to stand up the pilot program.
