Student Board Representative Cameron Lipscomb updated the Board on student life. He said Wish Week, a student fundraiser, was held early this year to raise money to grant a child’s wish to go to Disney over winter break. He also reported strong attendance at basketball games, a boys' hockey victory with three games a week, and positive wrestling results. Cameron added that a recent power outage at the high school occurred during fourth hour and resulted in a day off for students.
The student representative said the addition of a fall break along with Thanksgiving and winter break helps balance students’ workload and morale.
