District reports Stop Finder training, EV vans delivery and upcoming electrical work during winter break

Assistant Superintendent Rebecca Scicluna told the Board that transportation staff have trained 23 of 30 drivers on the Stop Finder stop-finder system; the remaining seven drivers are scheduled to be trained after winter break. She said parents on routes using Stop Finder will be able to track students via the app’s GPS function once tablets are installed and that the district will approve the purchase of nine tablet mounts totaling $100.
Scicluna reported that EV vans have been delivered and will be wrapped. She also said she and district staff met with DTE and arranged for electrical-panel work at the high school during winter break to address the outages reported earlier in the week.
