Board approves 2.5% and 2.0% pay increases for central office non‑union staff

The Saginaw Township Board of Education approved adjustments to non‑union central office compensation on March 17. The motion, offered by Arik Smith, adopted a new pay scale for central office directors and provided a 2.50% increase retroactive to Jan. 1, 2025, and a 2.00% increase for the 2025–2026 school year for other non‑represented central office staff.
Superintendent Jamie Kraatz presented the proposal and the minutes record the action as “in accordance with the STEA contract.” The motion was seconded and adopted by unanimous roll call vote.
