Council OKs park building plans at Soldier’s & Sailor’s Park and grants temporary license for May car show

Separately, the council approved a Temporary Class B license for the Markesan SnoDrifters to hold their car show at Soldier's & Sailor's Park on May 17, 2026. The motion to grant the license passed 6-0, and the Clerk/Treasurer's office will issue the license and record follow-up steps for licensing and event coordination.
