Commissioner Rebecca Rockwell moved to take under advisement a request submitted on Oct. 24, 2024 to modify motor-vehicle dealer education requirements, saying the Commission will not pursue rulemaking at this time but will continue discussions with interested parties. "The Commission will not be pursuing rulemaking at this time, but will continue to work with the interested parties on this issue," Rockwell said.
The motion passed unanimously on roll call. The Commission did not adopt any rule changes during the meeting; staff and stakeholders will continue to confer and bring any future proposals back to the Commission for consideration.
