GCWinn unveils new watershed data dashboard; presenters say it consolidates 20+ years of monitoring data

A GCWinn presenter (speaker 11) provided the board with an annual update and a live, high-level demo of a new public-facing data dashboard developed with LRE Water (now Spheros Environmental). The presenter described four monitoring programs — stream temperature, lake clarity, cyanobacteria monitoring and TNDC sensors — and said the dashboard aggregates data from GCWinn, USGS, Northern Water, Denver Water, CSU and other partners, providing a single access point to download years of records.
The presenter said membership dues were increased for 2026 and thanked major funders who contributed to a dashboard grant and sponsorships for the more-than-$100,000 project. Board members and partners including Catherine Morris (water resources manager) and Adam Quikland (board member and county water resource specialist) described practical uses for the dashboard such as informing stream-management plans, supporting wastewater permit renewals, and providing fishermen and researchers with accessible data.
