At the June 10 meeting, the Daviess County Council approved several budget adjustments and appropriations covering County General needs, Rainy Day transfers and TIF capital projects.
The council approved County General additional appropriations totaling $38,050: $23,050 for County Commissioners (account C.C.M.H 1000.37401.00000.0068) and $15,000 for Circuit Court petit jurors (1000.16010.00000.0232). The motion was moved by Mike Myers and seconded by Tom Schaffer and passed unanimously.
Council also approved a $10,000 transfer from the Rainy Day fund into capital improvements (1186.43200.00000.0000) on a unanimous vote moved by Tom Schaffer and seconded by Mike Sprinkle.
For TIF capital projects, the council approved an additional appropriation of $606,000 for GPC equipment (4501.44100.00000.0150). That motion was moved by Mike Sprinkle and seconded by Marilyn McCullough; minutes record the motion as passed unanimously with Matt Meredith abstaining on the item.
The minutes list a grand total of $654,050 across the recorded appropriations for the meeting.
