The Lorain County Visitors Bureau on March 26 approved Resolution VB-26-10 to authorize $40,000 to the Lorain City Port Authority for the Rockin On The River 2026 concert series. The motion was made by Rob Duncan and seconded by Commissioner David J. Moore; the recorded vote was Ayes: Duncan, Moore, Billings and Phillips, with Brad Mullins absent.
Director Garry Gibbs said the bureau is placing architectural signage at Black River Landing and seeking sponsors for nationally known acts; the board also noted the concert series announcement would be made on Friday at 2 p.m. The funding vote was taken during the director's report portion of the meeting.
