Langley City Council unanimously approved the consent agenda on Jan. 20, adopting payroll and voucher batches and several routine approvals. The consent agenda included voucher batches: #4540626#45410 for $72,940.61; #4541126#45428 for $514,782.45; and #4538926#45398 for $889,249.29 (combined total $1,476,972.35). The agenda also included approval of commission meeting minutes, Council minutes (01/05/2026), a special-occasion liquor license for the Knights of Columbus at St. Hubert27s Catholic Church, MOUs with Whidbey Homeless Coalition and Island Senior Services, and a contract with Technical Systems, Inc.
Councilmember Thomas Gill moved to adopt the consent agenda and Councilmember Dominique Emerson seconded; the council recorded no discussion and passed the consent agenda unanimously. The minutes reflect standard routine approvals; none of the consent items were pulled for separate discussion. The clerk will include the contract and MOU files with the approved minutes.
