Parks Board to proceed with Bear Trap Meadows shelter and fully funds archery targets

Board members said the awards allow the shelter and target purchases and will support path maintenance work with the Central Wyoming Trail Alliance.
Board leaders clarified grant administration differed by source: an "Eastern" grant will require the board to submit receipts for reimbursement, while the outdoor recreation grant is reimbursable as costs are incurred. Staff said they will publicize final grant approvals and next steps once the county issues official notice.
The board did not set a specific construction start date; members said work will begin once official notification and reimbursement procedures are confirmed.
