Applicant Ryan emphasizes small businesses, housing and research-before-action

"I would like to spend time focusing on supporting our small family businesses," Ryan said when asked about city priorities, adding that he also wants to look at practical housing and affordability so his children could afford to live in the community.
The council thanked Ryan and explained that deliberations and any appointment would be announced later that evening following additional interviews and a 6:30 deliberation window.
