Debbie Beck told the Board she was concerned the current snow removal contract with Piscataqua Landscaping "was not put out to bid," questioned costs and performance, and urged the Board to allow local qualified contractors to bid when the contract expires.
TA Tucker clarified that the Comprehensive Maintenance Agreement was a new approach and that the current contract was not subject to bidding. The Board agreed on the importance of open bidding for future contracts and said contract duration and terms would be reviewed to ensure transparency and value for the Town.
