The Lockeford Community Services District Board voted unanimously March 12 to adopt a Notice of Exemption pursuant to CEQA and award the Well No. 5 control system replacement contract to Automation and Control Solutions. Dennis Martin moved the action, which Nina Chandler seconded; the record states the motion "carried unanimously."
Board members said the item proceeded on the basis of a sole bid for the control-system replacement. The approved authorization directs the General Manager to execute all associated contract documents so the work can proceed. The board did not record a dollar amount in the meeting minutes.
