Claymont board approves December financials, accepts $5,000 donation

The Claymont City Board of Education voted Jan. 12 to approve the Financial Report for December 2025 and the payment of bills for that month. Treasurer Kim Beckley reviewed the district’s December financial presentation before the board voted to adopt the report, approve the bills and approve minutes from the Dec. 8 and Dec. 17, 2025 meetings.
The board also unanimously accepted a $5,000 donation from the Uhrichsville Eagles earmarked for the Intermediate School’s 'Girls with Pearls' program. The treasurer’s package and the donation acceptance were approved on a roll call vote with Ms. Campbell, Mrs. Grandison, Mrs. Host, Mr. Peters and Mrs. Wolf voting yes.
