Director Olsen presented a request for midyear administrative adjustments to the Department of Residential Healthcare Facilities' 2026 budget, saying the proposal was "budget neutral." Olsen said the adjustments respond to higher overtime, temporary health and contract-service costs and increased food concession expenses, offset by a rise in private-pay residents.
When asked for the current private-pay census, the committee was told it is about 60 residents; Olsen added that the figure is "about 10 more than last year." A motion to approve the administrative adjustments was recorded (mover: guest Rosanos; second: Mister Conway) and passed on a voice vote, with the chair calling for "Aye." The transcript does not record a roll-call tally of individual votes.
