The commission approved an amplified sound permit requested by the Chinook Nation for an on-property event commemorating the Tansy Point treaty signing. Staff noted the event will be held on private property the Chinook Nation owns, open to the public, and will use a microphone and speaker between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.; only a few homes are adjacent to the site.
The mayor called for a motion, which was moved and seconded; the commission voted in favor and the motion carried unanimously.
