Lyons had earlier outlined related near‑term pavement work and funding efforts, noting that the bid opening for the chip‑seal Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) project had been scheduled for 5/18 at 10 a.m. That project and the broader six‑year plan are intended to coordinate maintenance and grant opportunities across city streets.
The council took no additional action beyond adoption at the meeting; staff will implement the schedule and return with project details as needed.
