County approves $5,000 ARPA grant to help Roberts volunteer fire district buy AEDs

The board discussed the options and approved a $5,000 contribution from county ARPA funds to Roberts to buy either a new AED plus a refurbished unit or two refurbished units, and directed staff to prepare an MOU similar to those used with other agencies. "My thought is $5,000 would allow them to either purchase a new AED or 2 refurbished ones," staff said before the motion passed by roll call.
