The Lockeford Community Services District board voted unanimously to authorize KSN to produce an Alternatives and Conceptual Design Scope of Services for Lockeford Park improvements, to be funded by remaining grant proceeds from OGALS. Eric Schmid introduced the scope and emphasized that final draft documents and all decisions would be returned to the board for approval.
Noel Stetson, introduced as Secretary of the Friends of Lockeford Memorial Park, told the board the group is evaluating additional items it could help fund, including a shade structure, a memorial wall, and storage. The board reached consensus to return the memorial-wall item once a suitable location is identified; Noel indicated "The Friends will be ready to support the project when needed."
