Parks board reports near-complete state-park mural, pool planning and radar survey of tennis courts

The board also said the fall tennis program drew 20 participants and that a ground-penetrating radar survey will be used to investigate recurring cracks in the tennis courts; the quote for the radar work came in below budgeted expectations.
The parks report encouraged public attendance at the retreat and previewed a short ribbon-cutting for the skate park tied to that meeting. No budget vote or formal contract award for the pool was made at the council meeting; staff said project coordination with consultant Thrasher is continuing.
