The Lyon County Commission approved two emergency‑communications expenditures on Sept. 18. Commissioners authorized payment of $4,950 to ESRI for the 2025–2026 fire map, to be paid from General Contractual Services Fund 010-28-7600; the minutes note that the cost is shared with city and fire district partners and 3/5 of the cost will be paid back to LCECC.
Roxy VanGundy of LCECC also requested approval to pay LCECC’s share of CAD and firewall costs to the City of Emporia totaling $30,362.94 from the 911 Service Fund Contractual Services 019-00-7600; the Commission approved that payment as well (motion Bartel/Peck 3‑0). The minutes record the amounts and funding sources but do not list a repayment schedule beyond the shared‑cost note for the ESRI map.
