Police chief updates council on township talks and looming dispatch changes

Chief Clemens also informed council that Mantua will end its dispatch contract sometime between September and December and that he is obtaining additional quotes from competing dispatch services to ensure continuity. The remarks framed public-safety planning as contingent on township decisions and third-party contract timing rather than at-will changes by the village.
