Public Works reports water-line repairs, delivered signs and April 17 cleanup day

Mr. LeBleu presented the Public Works activities for February 2026: alley bleeding, utility locates, vehicle and equipment maintenance, and a water leak behind Maverick that took a full day to repair. He described follow-up work including backfill and cleanup and said staff had distributed interruption notices to affected addresses prior to repair.
LeBleu said the town built a haul rack for a truck, completed shop cleaning, and has received sign posts and signs for an ongoing sign project. He announced a cleanup day with GO Services scheduled for April 17, 2026. He also said staff plan to review and recommend converting some yield signs to stop signs on the South Side; any changes will be made only with council approval.
Council members asked about specific erosion on Stanlin Avenue and Mr. LeBleu said they plan to dig and rock the area or extend guttering to stop erosion. He said the tree-dump separation of leaves, grass and limbs is functioning and may produce compost over time.
