Town Manager Jonah showed council members a new grant-tracking dashboard intended for internal use and board monitoring, describing color-coded visuals that show project costs (blue), grant funding (orange) and other allocations (green). "Each of you have been sent this system," Jonah said, and invited council members to explore project lists and pending grants for council review.
Jonah told the council the town's permitting digitalization target has shifted from the end of March to the end of April as staff finalize work. He also confirmed that a previously discussed $5,000,000 geothermal grant was relinquished in the fall. "We're still exploring other geothermal options, and there might be grant funding in the future, but that grant is no longer available to us," he said.
Jonah said the dashboard can surface projects pending council approval and help staff and council track grant awards and project pipelines. He invited questions; none were raised that required immediate follow-up.
