The Harrison City Council adopted an updated city fee schedule after a public hearing on Nov. 11, 2025. Councilmember Joe Cornell moved to approve the fee schedule, which includes provisions for fee increases beyond 5 percent; Josephine Prophet seconded and Councilmembers John Gray, Joe Cornell, Josephine Prophet and Will Butler voted AYE.
City Clerk/Treasurer Miriah Pfeiffer told the council that "the notice of public hearing had been published twice in the Gazette Record, and that the notice specified materials would be available at City Hall," in response to a resident's request about hearing materials. Councilmember Josephine Prophet presented the fee items developed by the Administration Committee during the hearing. The ordinance and fee schedule language to implement the changes were approved at the meeting.
