Village Administrator Egan told trustees that the Plan Commission recently approved several projects: a one-year conditional placement of a donation bin at Pick 'n Save, a revised landscaping plan for Global Power that adds substantial new plantings on Burnham Street, approval of a revised exterior sign for Johnson Financial Group with "banking" added for clarity, and fencing for Dickman Palmero’s Pizza.
Egan also reported the MMSD infrastructure project on 52nd Street commenced this week. A recent property sale on 52nd led to the dismissal of a maintenance lien after payment of back taxes; the new owner has pulled permits for roof replacement and dumpsters, indicating active renovation work. Egan said a few residents had picked up Strong Neighborhoods program applications but none had been returned.
