Board elects Garvin as chair, names Lee Hoagland vice chair for 2026
Summary
The board approved minutes, nominated Garvin to continue as chair and elected Lee Hoagland as vice chair after Stacy Lanker declined the nomination.
At the start of the meeting the board addressed routine business and officer elections. The moderator opened nominations for chair for 2026 and Miss Mary Jane Skinner nominated Garvin; the nomination was seconded and approved.
On the vice chair position, Stacy Lanker was nominated but declined. Jeff Moss then nominated Lee Hoagland, who accepted; the board voted to elect Hoagland as vice chair for 2026. Earlier in the meeting the board also moved to approve the minutes from the August 11, 2025 meeting.
All motions were approved by voice/roll-call as recorded during the meeting; there were four members present and one absence was noted (Ashley).
