At its Dec. 9 meeting the Harrison City Council reviewed three proposed Area of City Impact map options — a 1-mile radius option, a 2-mile radius option, and the current map — but took no final action and agreed to seek more information before moving forward.
Councilmember Will Butler moved to table consideration of the maps; Councilmember Joe Cornell seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously with Will Butler, Josephine Prophet, Joe Cornell and Debbie Lockhart recorded as voting AYE. Mayor Wanda Irish presided over the meeting.
The council did not specify what additional information it requires before resuming consideration. The item was left on the agenda for future action pending staff follow-up and further detail from the Administration Committee.
