The Harrison City Council took a series of votes at its June 11 meeting. The council unanimously approved the consent calendar covering payment of bills for May 2025 and minutes from earlier meetings. Councilmembers Josephine Prophet, John Gray, Charlie Shutt, and Debbie Lockhart each voted AYE on the consent calendar.
Key votes included approval of the Marty Hayes zone change (motion by Charlie Shutt; second by John Gray; unanimous AYE), approval of a desktop quote from Northwest IT Consultants (motion by Charlie Shutt; second by John Gray; unanimous AYE), and an amendment to Ordinance 492 rescheduling council meetings from the second Thursday to the second Tuesday of each month (motion passed unanimously). The council also voted to table proposed amendments to City Code 7-2-14F, which would have shifted sewer pump-out expenses to property owners, and to table consideration of including professional fees in the building permit; both tabling motions passed with unanimous support.
The council voted to enter executive session under Idaho Statutes 74-206(c) and (f) later in the meeting and adjourned at 8:30 PM.
