"This is a resolution to authorize the city of Gallatin to partner with historic downtown Gallatin, Inc. To apply for a downtown improvement grant," Fan said.
Council members discussed how grant projects would interact with other downtown initiatives, the allowable use of tourism funds and the need to coordinate with building owners and Downtown Gallatin's executive director. The council voted to approve the partnership unanimously and directed staff to coordinate next steps and outreach to stakeholders.
