Planner Jim Carpenter said staff had primarily minor comments but raised concerns about proximity of pavilions to neighboring properties and turnaround/ dead‑end circulation on the site. Engineering said the Browns Lane sidewalk should be extended across the front of the property and that the shown driveway configuration should be exit‑only because of angled parking. Applicant civil engineer Sam Chrisman asked for relief from extending a six‑foot sidewalk where it would dead‑end into an adjacent private driveway and said the team would address other comments and resubmit.
Commissioners asked about fencing and sound mitigation between the new courts and nearby homes; staff noted applicant planned shielding on the buffer side and that fire access and turnarounds will be provided as part of revised drawings.
