Engineering emphasized driveway spacing along collector roads (Sweet Briar Way) and a change to the stormwater concept that needs more detail. Applicant civil engineer Wes McGill said they reduced the detention pond area and plan to reconfigure open space into more usable areas and that the memory‑care facility needs a single controlled access for resident safety.
Commissioners reacted positively to the creative redistribution of open space but asked for more labels on the PMDP and for the applicant to coordinate driveway spacing, stormwater and potential connections between the memory care driveway and the car dealership area.
